The other great thing about this story that while it is part of a series, you can easily jump right in. The story is well paced, and I didn’t find myself bored like I do with so romance books. Both of them are so strong, and that made reading about their romance so much more enjoyable. Remo and Serafina are two of my favorite characters. However, if you like a dark and twisty alpha male romance, then pick this book up now! This book is not for the faint of heart, it is gritty, dark and violent, but it’s also a great story. If you are looking for a light-hearted rom-com, this book is not for you. Remo braced himself to both sides of me, a long dagger in one hand.
